New Year's Eve Feast

I managed to spend most of yesterday cooking for last night’s dining experience and in the melee of ‘plating up’ (ahem) managed to completely forget the photos. Which is a pity as the food looked pretty fab, even if I do say so myself. Anyway, dinner consisted of:

Prawn Soup

Braised Beef with pot-roasted vegetables

Poached Pear with Chocolate Sauce, Pear Syrup and Ice Cream

I also did a veggie main of open ravioli with butternut squash, spinach and mushrooms.

Finally, there was a goodly portion of wine and whisky. Happy New Year.
