From scotch glasses that bring out the bourbon in bookers and a variety of wine glasses that preserve every subtle flavor from the aged grapes that comprise them…really??? No. These glasses just look cool. Riedel’s ‘O’ collection maintain their sleek/simple design but are also dishwasher safe and OK for everyday use. There are Chardonnay glasses, Cab Sauv. glasses, Merlot glasses…all stemless. Don’t get too hung up on pairing the ‘right’ glass with the wine (focus on da food), we’ve found that an assortment works well. The bourbon glasses can be used as water glasses & wine glasses and wine glasses can be used as scotch glasses & sparkling water glasses and…if you don’t get the point relearn the transitive property. Hint: when washing these puppies make sure they’re not touching other glasses in your diswasher rack and you’ll get the max. life outta them. Prices range from $10-15 a piece. Amazon gives you the best price and most stock, however, Williams Sonoma may be able to fill your same day fix.
